In the Rossetto series, we are witnessing a woman in the act of applying lipstick.  In a nod to the great Warhol, Adamo uses repetition of imagery as well as color to create and alter mood. We are often left wondering if this indeed is the same woman, with three slightly different personalities. Do we know her? Perhaps.  She is bathed in colored light almost as if through a stained glass window. Alas, she is a trio of forms, a complexity of character. The central figure is emerald and turquoise. Hence the title:Rossetto: La Luce Verde.
