This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on creations-gallery.com, what each one is for, and how to turn off the optional ones.
The short version
Some cookies are needed for the site to work at all — your cart, the currency you see, and security. Others help us understand how the site is used, or show you our work on other sites you visit. You can opt out of the optional ones at any time, and the site will keep working normally.
What we use
Needed for the site to work
- Shopping and checkout — remembers what is in your cart and carries you through checkout.
- Currency and regional pricing — shows prices in your currency.
- Security — protects the site and your account against abuse.
These cannot be switched off, because the site cannot function without them.
Understanding how the site is used
- Google Analytics — which pages and artworks people look at, and how they move around the site.
- Clicky — a simpler view of the same thing.
- Order attribution — records how a visitor first arrived, so we know which of our efforts bring people to the gallery.
Advertising
- Google Ads — lets us show our work to people who have visited the site, and tells us which ads lead to enquiries.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — the same, for Facebook and Instagram. This includes sending a scrambled version of the email address or phone number entered at checkout, so Meta can match a sale back to an ad. Meta does not receive these details in readable form.
- Pinterest — the same, for Pinterest.
- Google Shopping — lists our artwork in Google’s shopping results.
Contacting us, and email
- Zendesk — the chat window in the corner of the screen.
- HubSpot — handles enquiries and our marketing email.
- Mailchimp — sends our newsletter.
- Checkout reminders — if you begin checking out and do not finish, we may email you a reminder.
How to opt out
These controls are run by the companies themselves, so your choice applies across every site that uses them, not only ours.

Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies in its own settings. Blocking all cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.
Where your information is processed
Our website is hosted in the United States, in Michigan, and the services listed above are operated by companies in the United States and elsewhere. Your information is therefore processed outside Canada, where it is subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access by their courts and authorities.
Unsubscribing from email
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing stops marketing email but not messages about an order you have placed, such as a receipt or a shipping notice.
