Exceptional opportunity to study palette painting with Canada’s #1 selling artist, Maya Eventov.
Eventov paintings are trademarked by a thick application of both blended and pure colour acrylic paints. She uses special palette knives to create depth and detail in her paintings to emulate a mosaic technique. The smaller, more regular strokes bring her paintings to life through the subtle shifts in colour and tone.
This premier workshop commences with a brief demonstration followed by a question and answer session. the rest of the day will be spent in studio classroom painting on your own piece with group and one-on-one instruction.
Artists with some painting experience will review painting essentials including composition, perspective, palette techniques, colour mixing, contrast, sense of depth and encouraged to explore various techniques with direction and feedback from the instructor.
