Description

A 17th-century reverse panel frame, this design has classic Dutch styling. The antique black painted panel reveals warm red undertones and the gilded 22K gold ripple ornamentation adorns the outer and inner edges.

Dutch Design Origin:

The Dutch were among the first people to trade in exotic woods and incorporate the beauty of natural grain patterns into decorative items; foremost was the use of ebony.
