The ground is deep — indigo, navy, near-black, with hidden passages of violet and forest green that only reveal themselves as your eyes adjust. Across it the currents move in every direction at once: sweeping strokes of turquoise and cerulean, sheer veils of powder blue, whitecaps flicked off the tops of gestures. Threaded through the whole canvas are Gagic’s calligraphic golds — feathered, combed strokes that arc and cross like phosphorescence or fireworks reflected on water. A deep blue orb floats left of centre, circled by gold, like a held breath inside the celebration.
Colour, Texture, and Technique
The palette is built on indigo, navy, turquoise, and powder blue, deepened by violet and forest green and lit throughout with combed metallic gold and white. Gagic layers fast, wet gestures over the dark ground, then draws the gold through with a dry, feathering touch, so it catches real light and flickers as you move. A high-gloss finish turns the whole surface into night water. The painting is signed in red at the lower right.
